Temporary Tattoos(Butterflies,Dolphins,Pirate Skulls,Dragons& Dinosaurs) it’s all good yes mums love our butterflies too. Kids tattoos are a free service at our children’s parties.
Parties include a beautiful clip in Hair wrap-braid & Nail Art for the Birthday Girl & Boys – receive something age appropriate eg: A groovy themed gift.

A CREATIVE ACTIVITY PARTY (3 hrs) is always a hit – how to make a dream catcher ,braid or wrist band Art ( 7 yrs +) with supervision.

Bill & Katie have worked in local Health & Alternative Services on the Gold Coast

Katie - a P/T/Cook plus gained her Cert 111 AIN/Carer
One golden Rule has been any Face-Painting around the mouth & nose areas we use a new Face-painting sponge for each child always *not wash & recycled in front of you*
Product on each sponge…is money….But what of it?... Throw it away & use a new one!

As an Artist/Hobbyist much of Kates inspiration comes from her childhood in Newcastle with her love of children, music, shells, flowers & surfing. When painting Katie smiles whilst remembering the day she was asked to leave the class room for painting butterflies and flowers on friend’s arms. As a young teenager she sold macramé Dream-catchers, Shawls & Jimmy Hendrix posters & painted them literally everywhere plus designed one of a kind clothes & accessories - sometimes a labor of love especially with one days notice.

She split her time between surfing, working in a local craft & haberdashery store & always the entertainer, hence the many fancy dress parties she attended. As a teenager Kate was unlucky with cars. 2hrs before the Foster-Tuncurry surf comp a car sideswiped her mates new car. Then a couple of years later she was hit by one.

The positive side is she had a long time healing in & out of hospital with sketch book or crafts in hand & even today you won’t find her bored.

In the Eighties Kate began making piece work (shell belts and accessories) for the Coolangatta Shell shop who supplied mostly large department stores worldwide so with permission to DIY her own one of a kind designs she branched out using materials like denim, shells, bamboo, beads, silks & feathers she designed a couple for Karen at Brothers Neilson / designed sketches for swim suits & accessories for Lou Bikinis & many other Gold Coast Stores & sometimes selling at the Carrara markets wholesale.

These days it’s a little bit harder for Kate with RA etc, whether she is Face-painting, twisting balloon animals at a birthdays/community events or creating denim art & hair-braids & designing her beautiful Dream & Rainbow catchers with her equally talented Husband Bill, Katie is a creative thinker & they both enjoy sharing their knowledge.
